iTunes 9 "an update to the carrier settings"

This message appears everytime I start up itunes. Is there a way to disable/remove this "an update to the carrier settings" message from Itunes?

There is not. just update it.

yeah it doesn't do anything if you have a JB. Once you do it, your ipsw will be in your recycle bin/trash you should save the file somewhere just incase you need it in the future.
