iTunes thinks app is installed when it isn't.

I updated the facebook app the other day and after resetting my phone it still crashed. I deleted it and tried to download it again but the app store thinks it's still installed. I've restarted the phone many times and even downloaded the newest firmware but it still thinks it's there. Any suggestions?

Might need to restore.

This happened to me once I think what fixed it was unchecking sync apps in iTunes and rechecking it.

Fixed. I only had to uncheck the one app and then sync the phone. Now it lets me download it again. Thanks and case closed.
