Does iTunes 8.2 work with jailbroken iPhones?

I?ve heard that the new iTunes (8.2) affects how your PC communicates with your jailbroken iPhone/iPod, by screwing up the USB connection, then making it difficult for the cord to transfer information. If it?s true this could be bad, haven?t seen anything about that here.

Why did a read all those warnings about iTunes 8.2?

In order to enable a network connection over USB (tethering), Apple re-wrote the USB drivers and bundled them with iTunes 8.2. Originally, this screwed up some stuff, like jailbreaking, but pretty soon the Dev Team got everything worked out to work with the new drivers. There are no problems jailbreaking with 8.2 now.

when you update to 3.0, 8.1 wont read your phone. but yeah it works on jb and unlocked
