TUAW is reporting that a new feature of iTunes 7.7 will be remote control via a free application on the iPhone. WooHoo!

Anyone know if this would also allow you to use the iPhone as a remote for the Apple TV? I just got one (awesome!), and using the iPhone to control it would be perfect, especially when using the keyboard to input text!

I am very happy to hear of the remote control of iTunes, but am also looking into buying an Apple TV. This remote feature for the Apple TV would be great.
I am also wondering if anyone knows if there is a feature where you can order a movie (rental or purchase) on your iPhone and have it waiting for you on your Apple TV when you get home. It be great to set a rental at work and have it ready when you get home.
