    Hi Guys

I have a 6th generation ipod touch. The ipod was purchased new and is registered to me. It has sat idle for a while so yesterday i plugged it into itunes for any updates. The problem i have is the activation lock. I was pretty sure i used my apple id and password but the activation lock will not accept it.

I have factory reset the ipod but i cannot bypass the lock. I can log into my apple id and also my icloud account but this will not accept my passwords.

Has anyone got any ideas how i can address this problem as the ipod is now unusable.

    Thanks in advance
