My notification screen is covering almost the whole screen of my Ipod touch 5th generation all except a third of the screen. It will not reboot or power down please help. My most needed information is on it.

If the device will "not reboot or power down" then you're going to have to wait until the battery is depleted. Afterwards, the device will boot up when the battery has enough charge.
