can i transfer my music to a new i-pod

my i pod dose not work any more and i am going to buy a newer up dated one can i transfer my music from the old i-pod to the new one

Welcome to iMore! How did you get the music on there in the first place? If you did it through iTunes then you should be able to easily connect your new iPod to iTunes and transfer the music over. If your music isn't in iTunes you'll have to connect your existing iPod to your computer and transfer your music over first. Here's some help with that:
