    Hello there,

I've been wondering if it's possible to enable the battery percentage on iPod Touch running iOS 5.0.1 because i believe this option was available on the last iOS 4 which was 4.3.5

Through jailbreaking of course it can be enabled, but i'm giving up jailbreaking because i've found the backup and restore process too much a hassle.

    Anyone can help? Thanks!

Managed to get it done, but had to do some tweaking with the codes.

I managed to do it by following the steps show here:

[How To] Battery % and fake carrier name | iPod touch, iPad, and iPhone forums | iFans

I did it way back with the original version of iOS that shipped with the device. It's persisted across various OS upgrades that I've done over the past year and a bit (not jailbroken).
