Iphone 4 backup from Ipod touch 4th gen

I just got my new and first Iphone4. But I did a backup of my ipod in Itunes. I right clicked my ipod in itunes and clicked backup. But when I right click my Iphone and click restore the only backup that is in the list is my old ipod 3rd gen. Not the new backup of my ipod 4th gen.

I really just want some of my game data and notes.

FYI - I had bad results when doing this (restoring an iPod backup to my new iPhone). In particular, face time wouldn't work.
