White or Black iPhone front screen?

The screen on all iPhone models are black. With that in mind, if you're asking for the color of the faceplate on the iPhone 8 and earlier devices then the front of my iPhone 8 is white.

Was always white. Since there are now no bezels with the X and Xs Max, all that’s available is black so black is it.
