Daily? For me a 'look' is only 'just broken in' if I like it and a minimum of 6 months have passed. My iOS 14 modifications ( and new phone) won't change much in 2021 I suspect. ( But that's just me!!)

If I like the look and the stuff contained works as it should I don't change much - I think I was called 'functional' at one time and if the shoe fits. I like good contrast and organized in appearance, a minimum of clicking to get where I wish to be, yep, functional.
