Anyone going for the 512 storage?

I always buy the maximum storage device but if I was preordering I would stick with the 256 GB model. My needs are far below a half a Terabyte.

I almost considered the 512GB but am going to preorder the 256GB. My reason for considering it was to future proof a little but then realized I've never kept a smartphone model for more than 12 months so it would be pointless for me.

I got the gold 512GB Max.

Keep more seasons of my favorite shows and more films for when I travel.

And the bigger screen will be fantastic.

Why will you need that much storage space? Just curious.

No. I use Google Photos, Google Drive, Google Keep, Microsoft OneDrive & OneNote. There is no need for a 1/2 terabyte phone.

I really wanted the the 256 but could never find it. Had to go with the silver 64gb

I upgraded to the 512GB iPhone Max and haven’t regretted it at all. I like to record a lot of 4K videos @60 fps and it can gobble up the storage quite fast.

I don’t utilize iCloud that much because there is no end to end encryption on that part and I like to keep everything local on my iPhone just in case I run into a situation where I have no internet or LTE to access the iCloud.

Plus, I like the fact my content is secure with encryption when stored on my local device with passcode protection.
