I was perusing Facebook on Apple SE phone when this popped up?

That's in the built in browser on Facebook. What did you click on to take you there? It looks like some kind of spam/scam. Don't click on anything. It's probably phishing for your personal information.

I immmediately clicked out of Facebook, then cleared the history and Data in Safari. I wonder would have happened if I hadn't clicked on it?

    Thanks.

Probably nothing. It appeared to be on whatever you clicked on in your newsfeed.

It'll be a link taking you to some dodgy company selling antivirus software. One look at the URL is enough to dismiss it immediately.

That was an attempt to scare you into purchasing an anti-virus app.

You may want to clear your "Facebook browser" data. It's buried in the Facebook app under privacy shortcuts/more settings/browser.

Yep, I'm leaning toward this also.

What if I delete Facebook app, then re-install it?

I don't have an answer for this question. I was only showing how to clear Facebook browser data, since clearing Safari history and data won't clear Facebook browser data.

I occasionally delete the Facebook app and re-install it. This always clears up a bit of memory on the phone. Facebook is a memory hog. I am still a bit unclear as how you clean up your Facebook cache?

    Thanks

This is not for your Facebook cache, just your Facebook web browser data., cookies, history, etc.
