Welcome to iMore! Where do you see it online? Is the phone powered on? If it's powered off, you won't see the location. You don't provide much information.

It sounds like your daughters Apple ID is the same as yours so when you check Find My iPhone it shows listed under your account. Which is why you can see it.

She might also have "share my location" turned off in settings. If that's the case you'll be able to see she's online but not her location.

On your daughter's iPhone, open the Find Friends app, tap on "Me" at the bottom of the screen, and make sure that "Share My Location" is toggled on.
