Is there a 3rd party cable and wall charger you all use that is longer than the 1 foot that comes with it? God for bid they copy Samsung and make it 5 feet.

Not a charger, but I use a 10' MFi certified lightning cable by Monoprice. Works great. I always use an Apple charger.
