I don't have ad-related problems when I view certain websites via Safari on my iPhone. I often use Safari's reader feature to remove the ads from view so I can concentrate on the material I want to read, and no, I do not use an ad-blocker app.

There are apps that do that. They do work. But there are side affects. Some sites/apps may not have your best interest at heart. Make sure they're reputable.

I personally can't wait for them in iOS 9. I clicked on a link in Tapatalk to the iMore site and got a full page add.

Not at the moment but will try it out when I upgrade to iOS 9.

Ads on most pages are horrible nowadays. A banner on top and side is okay with me but animated crap dragging down the whole page is not acceptable.

I do not want any company advertising on my iphone without my consent. I am the one paying for the phone not the advertisers.

I use Mercury Browser Pro on my iPhone 6 and it has Ad Block installed as an extension that I have the option of turning on/off. It actually works pretty decent and gets rid of most ads. Do not know of what is available for other browsers as Mercury is my go to.
