Perusing Facebook just didn't seem important, huh?
I could not really care less about it, at that time haha!

What's more is that error kills my LTE, I have to put my phone in airplane mode and take it back out to reset the LTE.

Ha, searched the error and found my error, I forgot the * at the end.

You can just tap on the numbers to revert back to the dots and vice versa =)
No need to enter that number everytime

Yes but the dots are not persistent on my phone if I just tap the numbers. Links change the dots back to numbers.

    Hmm.. Weird.
Both are persitent, on my side, and do not change until I tap them.

They're persistent on mine too. They don't change unless I give them a good tap.

Sometimes it takes a few taps. Or one good thump.

No luck, just tried it again and every time I change the screen, be it an app or a new page in an app it reverts back to the numbers.

You may not be setting it right. You can set it temporary or where it stays put. I'll go find the directions.

OK, here. Read down far enough til you get where it says, "To always see the signal numbers...". That's the part I think you missed.

Oh no, I get the setup process to keep the signal strength numbers showing all the time. However when I tap the numbers to switch back to the dots it won't stay on the dots. Any screen change reverts it back to the numbers. The only way for me to keep the dots on the screen full time to revert the process.

I have no clue then. I have tapped mine to just see what happens a couple times. But leave it on the number the majority of the time. I checked it in late September after I restored my phone. I haven't tapped it since. Never a problem though.
