Been using Android for the last few years, but just got myself an iPhone 6.
However I miss the dual sim of android phones as I spend a lot of time on vacation so have two carriers.
Do you think Apple may produce a dual sim phone in the future??

Yes, if the demand increases to the extent that they are forced to. They did produce iPhones with bigger screen sizes to stop losing business and gain back their old customers.
Wait until people start switching to other platforms for iPhones not having dual-sim functionality.
They produce iDevices for customers; not to keep them in warehouses. 😊

Sometimes you don't have another option. I have two homes, one in the Netherlands and one in Turkey. I will never use roaming on my Dutch provider, because it's too expensive. A local card is much much cheaper. However, whenever I am abroad I simply place my local sim in a wifi dongle to use it for Internet. Since everybody I know has FaceTime Audio or Whatsapp calling, I never miss a call and don't pay a dime for roaming.

The future is more likely to be, one user, one SIM card world wide (they won't say it, but for better control). And apple love to control everything they own and sell to users. So it's hard to imagine apple swimming in dual SIM card phones

Wait, isn't Apple looking at an electronic SIM? And if so, couldn't this be used as a double sim, only using software instead of hardware?

Hi, yes I spend 6 months on vacation. I have many phones, and yes I can have two phones no problem, but sometimes it nice to just have one phone for convenience..

I guess in the future this will be the case for most handset manufacturers. It will all be electronic..
