iPhone 6 charging slow

Have any of you guys or gals noticed that your iPhone 6 takes a while to charge? I noticed that it took a while to get it from 30% to 90%. My iPhone 5s didn't take that long to charge. Has anyone else notice that or is it just me?

So Apple argues this is not the case but I strongly feel they are wrong. The 5 and 5s had 1450mAh batteries. The iPhone 6 is 2100mAh just over 25% more capacity yet the charger being used is the same. It makes perfect sense that it would take the same charger longer to fully charge a 2100mAh battery versus a 1450mAh battery. So it's not the charger per se it just the increased capacity of the phone. Chicken or the Egg?

My 6 seems to charge quickly. One time I drained it to about 40% only halfway through the day, so I plugged it in (standard 5W charger) and 45 minutes later it was at 96%. Seems quick to me, but maybe yours is having issues.

Get an iPad charge and use that. The 6 and 6+ will charge much faster.

I agree!! I've always used my iPad charger for all my phones & it works great.

Well I traded the original one I had due to a pixel being out. I'll have to see how the new is when charging. I'll have to try a iPad charger is the only difference there the wall plug part?

iPad charger FTW!!! Been using my iPad charger since I had my 4s. Now using it on my 6.

Yup - iPad charger. I bought an an extra one so I can use for my iPhone when the iPad is also charging.
