So I'm beginning to notice that safari on my 5S is starting to load pages and is just seeming slower as of late. I've already done two restores. Since as far as I know iOS dosent get viruses (and even if it did have one it would have been eliminated with the factory restores, no? ) I'm very curious what could be causing it. Is this a iOS 8 issue perhaps?

Shouldn't be an iOS issue as I am using iOS 8 on my 5s and my safari works great. Could it be possible your cell provider or wifi provider is getting a weaker signal than usual?

Doubt it's a virus, probably just a more congested network then usual maybe? When you restored, did you restore as new or backup?

I don't have an iPhone 5S, but Safari is working well on my iPhone 5 running iOS 8.1 beta 2.

Go to speedtest.net and see how fast your connection is. Could be your provider/Wifi that is causing your issues.

Is it just Safari? What about other internet connections? Facebook, Twitter and etc. have you tried a different browser?

Well, I think it's going ok now. And I haven't tried chrome, I may give that a go also.

I think I'm just virus paranoid. Probaly it's conditioning from years of using a PC. I also sometimes hit random banner ads and email links because I do it on accident sometimes. Also, my ***** friend when he was using my phone randomly showed me a porn video for some reason -_- so now I'm worried that gavee a virus.
