This is a good tip. I find that shuffle never really randomly shuffles all the music in my playlist. I have 1,000+ songs in one list. Just end up hearing mabe 15-20%.
Actually, that's your perception potentially. iTunes, the native music app, has a built in algorithm. Technically if you have 1000 songs and go to your song list and press play on shuffle it will not play the same song twice until all 1000 songs have been played.
The algorithm however is interrupted each time you close the app. You then re-open it and usually pick a song you like resetting the algorithm.
You could try this by making a 10 song playlist and starting it on shuffle. It will play all 10 before repeating any of the 10.
