    I was charging my sons old 3GS today when I heard a POP and found this!!!



    Just glad it wasn't in someone's pocket at the time!



    Hard to see in pics but the battery is really swelled. Phone rocks like a rocking chair now due to back case being so distorted!

    My friends iPod nano did that while he was mowing one day. Cracked the screen and everything when it came out lol.

    The battery on my OG MacBook pro did this a few months back. Apple needs to address this if they haven't already in their new devices.

    I have had tons of other lithium ion battery devices that never resulted in explosion. Also that OG MacBook pro went through like 3 magsafe power cords in succession. It was a poor enough experience for me to never personal buy an apple product with a battery in it ever again. Imac desktops for this guy from now on.
