I've 300 songs in my previous iTunes ID Can I transfer them to my new iTunes ID?

What's the best approach for this, anyone with experience in a situation like this?

You can easily call the Apple Helpline they I sure they can do that for you

As far as I know you can't do this. This is what prevents you from giving away your music to your friends.

1. You cannot merge/copy/move purchased items from one iTunes accounts into another account. Apple does not allow it.
2. There is no "Apple Helpline" for iTunes. All iTunes support is handled via email.

Yes, why are you? You can change emails but keep the same account.

Ring them for my problems, they do have help for iTunes through the phone. Why do you say 'There isn't help on the phone contact number only through email"?
