My battery refuses to charge above 80%...

Not sure what's wrong, but since a day or 2 the battery of my iPhone Xs refuses to charge above 80%.
Battery health is still at 91% (bought it on 27 Sep 2018).

• Does anyone have any idea what might be wrong?
80% is more than enough to make it through the day... but still.

Could be a calibration issue. Let your iPhone discharge completely and then recharge the battery to 100%. That should calibrate the battery. If that doesn’t work might be time for a new battery.

Do you by any chance have ”Optimized Battery Charging” turned on in your iPhone’s settings? To check, go to go to Settings > Battery > Battery Health > Optimized Battery Charging.
