Welcome to iMore.

I've been doing the same thing with my 7+ since launch. Really been into mobile photography for the past couple of years.

Love taking pictures with my smartphone, especially of nice scenery. Low light photography is harder but I enjoy tweaking the manual settings (exposure time, ISO etc) to get the best results. If you don’t have a tripod then a phone with OIS is a must for photography enthusiasts

I have always been open to the new technology and I was one of the first to embrace the digital imaging technology when a lot of my friends where still using film cameras.

I think it’s fantastic that folks have created some amazing images using their smartphones and I find myself doing the same thing more and more lately.

As some of you know, I was a professional photographer for many years and still have my Fuji X-T1 digital SLR gear which I still use for a lot of my serious nature shooting.

But I have taken some amazing images using my iPhone and have even used them in my documentation business. I salute the folks out there willing to go outside the box and try something, great job.
