I went with the Xs for a few reasons. I like smaller phones, the Xr looked a little to wide for my liking. If the Xr would have been a little smaller I would have waited and if the screen would have been 1080p. So far no regrets. I plan on writing a little review on my experience.

Awesome, please do! I'd love to read it. I have the X now and planned on preordering the XR mainly for the slightly bigger screen. I tried the max and it was WAY too large. So, figured the XR is a happy medium. Then I started thinking why I'd go from an OLED to a LCD screen, single camera, no HDR...no 3D touch. I will go see it in person when it comes out at the Apple store

Your last sentence is exactly my reason also for going Xs, except 3D touch. Never really used it on Android, still haven't gotten the hang of it on iOS.

It def isn't as good as Android and it takes practice to get it down.

I'm a longtime iPhone user and I only use 3D Touch for email. Press on the Mail app and either start a new message or go right to the inbox.

Yeah I use it for a couple of apps but I think you use it more and more once you actually train yourself to actually hard press instead of just the automatic reflex of single tapping an app. I am trying to get myself to use it for more apps.

Some more of the out door pictures I've taken while getting around.

Having made the leap from an iPhone 7 to the new XS hasn't been terrible. The camera is really impressing me, and I'm enjoying putting it to work.
