For us T-Mobile users the new XS supports band 71 so if it's launched in your area you will get better building penetration.

I think the fact that it has the new bands for T-mo, and other new network tech inside of these iphones, they are bigger upgrades than what people think. Band 71 is huge, especially for building penetration and somewhat "future proofing" it.
    mustang8918 and blueeyes2die4 like this.

Hopefully it’s launched here, about 2-3 months ago my service with T-Mobile got suddenly worse and has not improved. I’m on the edge of switching to AT&T or Verizon. The last Hope for T-Mobile was this iPhone upgrade.

I have verizon and have definitely noticed a difference with the new Mimo and LTE-AA. Before I was getting 2-3 mb/s, ran a speed test the other day when I got my XS in the same spot in my house and got about 13mb/s. I knew the X had awful antennas, so it is nice to see the new phones with better reception and antennas.

T-Mobile is not even close to being done with the rollout of their 600mhz spectrum. If they haven't gotten to your area of course it wont be any better.
