Text message through car’s Bluetooth

I am unable to configure texting with my late-model Toyota’s Bluetooth. Anyone know if this is possible? I was able to do so with my Android Note 9. It was seamless and brief responses were possible with their menu. I understand it is a safety issue and am I am not looking to enable complex and prolonged texting.

Simply use the “Hey Siri” feature on your iPhone while connected to your car’s Bluetooth connection to send text messages and have them read to you when received.
