Lightning Adapters

Does anyone have a 3.5mm --> Lightning adapter that actually works???

My XS Max is a couple weeks old (12.2 software, right now) and the charger/headphone splitter that I bought will work, but only for a couple minutes. Then it stops and I get message saying device isn't compatible.

Did you buy the authentic Apple one or one off eBay/Amazon?

There's ones on eBay that work with certain iOS then it doesn't update. For a few more dollars, I'd get the authentic Apple one ($10) or do what I did and get a lightning to 3.5mm aux cable.
