    Congrats! I know this is something you didn't want to do as you were satisfied with your 8 Plus but having unexpected phone issues puts a spin on things so I can understand why you had a choice to make and did what you felt was best for you.     I get your liking them. It was a big hunk of money but both are really nice.

    More and more I think a Series 2 should have been the first watch and Series 4 = ready for prime time. The new watch is a constant stand out where at times I have to agree the new phone is more towards diminishing returns as you spend.

    This phone will last me way over 2 years.
    And hopefully the watch too. I traded in my Series 3 and used towards the Series 4.

    Yes V2 is way better, i hated it on the X, great on the XS/XR series and the 11" pro too.
