    Are you asking about the USB to lightning cable sold by Apple? I have used it to charge my iPhone 7 Plus, XS Max and iPad Pro quickly and to back up my iOS devices to my MacBook Pro which only has USB-C.

    USB C to lighting should work with all lightning enabled Apple devices.

    I have the USB C charger block, I got it when the iPad Pro 12.9 came out and use it a lot for that. It will work with any device, but the charging rate is controlled by the device so it won't charge faster than its allowed.
