    Don’t know about that review.

Mine lasts from wake up to bedtime. That’s perfect for me. I charge when I sleep.

As I just told someone else that sent me this, I can find an article or video to support whatever I want to believe. There are plenty of first hand experiences to tell you the opposite of that.

Those I know first hand, not on the internet, are telling me they are ending they day with about 10-15% higher battery percentage than with the X. So if they ended at 10% with the X, they are ending at 20-25% with the Max.

Take that for what it’s worth. Everyone uses their phone differently and it’s only been a few days, but that is the feedback I have from the few people that I know that went X to Max.

That number is misleading because it also accounts for while you're using device plugged in.

Ohh, does it reset though to 0 once unplugged or is it just continous recording

From my understanding and from what it looks like it's continuous. So it doesn't ever reset as its giving you the measurement for the past 24hrs.

It does reset after a full charge.

I guess. It's not really clear. I'm really not sure to tell you the truth I may need to reach out to Apple for an explanation on how it's presenting it's data. Because if you notice the kind of shaded area where I believe it indicates when your phone is plugged in so I'm not sure if that screen on time number is excluding that area or not.

Off the charge at 7ish last night.

    Except it wasn’t.

I took it off the charger in the kitchen at 7ish last night. You can see the shaded area where it was charging. I took it upstairs and did some reading and fell asleep. I woke up and that’s when I first used it after charging it.

Here it is after being in use since this morning. At this rate of use I expect that it be out of power by 7ish. Giving me another 24 hours.

Edit: I’ve been downstairs with the phone next to me since 6:15ish this morning. I work from home.

But it's also including the time before the shaded area because it's part of that 24hr period. That's why that battery Screen On needs to be better clarified.

I’m talking about the time in the shaded area where you see the charge.

I’ve been running it nonstop from the time I wake up to the time I set it to charge.

The last few days I’ve been setting it to charge at the same approximate time, between 6 and 7 pm.

Today I’ll get a screenshot of where it’s at at 6ish pm when I set it to charge.

Here is my phone last night. It had 19% left when I put it on the charger. So it went 24ish hours on one charge.
Since I charge while I sleep , this suits me fine. (***Edit, it had 13%, I wasn’t wearing my glasses.)
And I’m starting out with a full charge this morning.

From my experience, the Max is a bit better than the X in terms of battery life. It’s good, and not great.

Either I got a bunk battery or there is no way you’re getting 13 hours of screen on time with one charge.

I don’t know about the first thought.

I can tell you, and I’m showing you, what I’m getting.

I’m not lying so the “there is no way you’re getting 13 hours of screen on time with one charge” is way off line.

I’ve posted the screenshots. You can see the times and the battery meter on the screen.

Here it is, this morning, thus far.

At this rate I think I’ll go another 24ish hours between charges. I’ll put it on the charger again at 6ish pm today.

Go into Settings> Screen Time then that will show you when you unplugged and started using the screen. I believe the battery section shows screen time for the last 24 hours which would include screen time from a previous charge. I went into the battery section and it said like 9 hours on, but then went to screen time and it dropped to 2 hours

I work from home Monday through Thursday. So my phone is in my hand almost nonstop.

For example, yesterday my friends and I were on all day, talking about Doctor Who because of the BBC America marathon. I was off the phone as soon as I logged off and went to get my hair cut. That’s when I called people, which doesn’t show there.

So I’m on almost literally all day.
