Yes, it's my favorite color as well. I'm thinking about the Apple Product Red also, but I really don't want to get into buying a whole lot of cases (been there done that), when my Black Apple Leather will probably be on 95% of the time.
Lol absolutely, im done having multiple cases because all end up in the closet somewhere. I typically rock one case and the apple cases last so long too. I was very close to getting the black one as well.

I take my cases from my previous iPhones to the VA and give them to the Disabled Vets. There's no need in me keeping them because I didn't even use those cases when I had the actual iPhone...LOL.

It will scratch at the bottom or at least show wear.
Been said here about 12 times already... but it's never happened with my phone. Just sold a 7 and 8+ both used leather cases and not a single scratch or mark.

Don’t care for Apple leather. Too slick. Much better alternatives for the $50 you’ll spend. Personally I like the Apple silicone more, if it has to be to be OEM.

I agree. I’ve used Apple silicone cases many times. Never a scratch on bottom.

I can’t handle all that pocket lint that the silicone attracts.

They are slick at first but nothing terribly. And they age wonderfully, adds all kind of grip

I do initially but it disappears quickly. Best grip. Especially for a large phone.

I never really had much issues with lint either. My issue was pulling out of pockets.

That I agree with... however I use a Molle Holster 90% of the time, so not a issue.

I'm not sure if I got a better quality Apple Leather case this time, but normally it takes about a week for the slipperiness to wear off. This time it took about three days or maybe I was just holding this iPhone MAX more. I do believe my break in period is complete.

They seem to have improved the leather cases, at least for the Xs Max -- mine was not slick at all when I bought it. And, as others stated, the slickness of my previous Apple leather cases wore off quickly .

I prefer the Apple silicone cases. They're grippier in the hand and don't slide around on surfaces as much.

    Meh.

I'm only holding out until the Nomad Rugged Leather Case comes out for the iPhone XS Max.

It's got a nice feel and it lasts. That's how I would introduce someone to this case . But be prepared to pay a premium for it .
