Xs dual SIM

Hi, Folks

I wonder how do the Xs dual SIM function works. A physical nano SIM and an e-SIM.

How does the e-SIM works?

I currently use X and 7 Plus for personal and work purposes respectively.

Does it mean that all of my messages, calls, WhatsApp, emails, etc will be mixed up?

Or does it mean that only the mobile number via the physical nano SIM will have full functionality while the mobile number via e-SIM will only have limited functionality?

I’m thinking your number now will be on the e-sim and whatever number (if traveling) will be the SIM card part.

Apple has an article on it here. Yes it is eSIM and physical SIM. The phone also needs to be unlocked to use the dual SIM functionality.
