My iPhone XS Official Apple Battery Case Fix

How’s it going, everyone? I had the same connect/disconnect battery case problem that’s mentioned in another thread. Apple sent me a replacement case but I’m using the same one I got when it launched. Anyway, the fix is to take the case off and push firmly (don’t kill it) DOWN on the white connector on the bottom of the case! Over time, I believe it gets slightly bent upwards because of heat and perhaps the bottom lip getting caught when pulling phone out of front pocket of jeans. I have to repeat this maybe every 2-3 months now.

I have found that method to work also. This issue, for me, dates back to the battery case for the 6S. After a while the connector gets slightly bent with wear and tear and just needs a little adjusting.

Funny, I used the 6s battery case daily for two years and have use the XS battery case on my X periodically over the summer and have never had this problem. I always carry the phone in my front pocket. Maybe I'm just lucky?
