    Hey guys,
I bought iPhone X about 2 months ago, it was on iOS 11. I setup my phone (Face ID, Passcode etc) and never bothered that menu again. I kept using my phone, later updated it to iOS 12.

Today i needed to change my Passcode but i found out there is no Face ID & Passcode option in settings. I tried to search in settings but it doesn’t show that menu in search as well.

Currently i am on iOS 12, please help me with this issue. I don’t want to reset my phone, i want to solve this issue without resetting anything. Thanks

Shut off the phone and start it again to see if that helps.

    Welcome to iMore

As mentioned above do a hard reset of your device by quick press of the top volume button then the bottom volume button then press and hold the power button till your device cycles

Also check Settings / Screen Time / Content & Privacy Restrictions and make sure, if "Content & Privacy Restrictions" is turned on at the top, that "Passcode changes" is set to "Allow".
