Me and my cousin did an ers replacement for the iPhone X but the repair facility is on backorder according to Apple support how can this be ?

Whether they have your card or not doesn’t matter in this case. They don’t have the necessary product to help you further. Until they do, you’ll have to wait like every other person out there.
