    Dear folk

On my iPhone X I set up [Backup and Sync] to the Gmail cloud / [Google Photos] app

My apple ID is my gmail account.

Backup is working perfectly once I take photos ,I can see them get uploaded to my gmail cloud / [Google Photos] app.

If I want to delete some photos on my cellphone is there a waiting time for those photos to get deleted from my [Google Photos] app ??

If so can I change that waiting period ? Because right now they are not getting deleted straightaway ?

When you delete them from Google Photos, if they’re synced from your phone library, you’ll see a prompt to delete them from there too.

If they’re deleted from your phone instead, they stay in Google Photos.
doogald, lgdlman and bakron1 like this.

Go straight to Google photos and delete there, that way they delete off your phone as well.
