I called it a gimmick from day 1. I think I’ve used it less than 5 times since having my iPhone X, and I can’t tell you when the last time I use Animojis.

I think even emojis are dumb (I often feel I need a translator to figure out what people are trying to say), and these are just not for me. Haven't used it once, never will.

I know these ads work well for Apple but personally I haven’t enjoyed an Apple commercial ad in years. Have they switched ad agencies in recent years? I find these to be pretty basic and not as creative as they used to be.

I probably use Animoji's once a month just for fun. Sometimes it's neat to send an Animoji message to my family/wife. They get a kick out of it.
