Ordering Rhinoshield Crashguard-Apple Silicone Case Retired

So I got the silicone case from Apple. I liked the case but it has not held up. The silicone has been chipping and I haven’t dropped it. Just in and out of my pocket.

I think the leather one holds up MUCH better. My 6 Plus case is STILL in good shape after several years!

I have always bought the Apple Leather OEM case and they hold up great.

I’ve always gotten the leather case up until now, I regretted buying the silicone case from the first time I put it on my phone then rubbed my eyes immediately after. There was like two or three days of trying to get some powder that was on it off and it was extremely itchy and burned the eyes lol

I find the Otterbox symmetry case to hold up the best very slim but extremely durable.

Well my crashguard just arrived, so far I like it, the buttons are tactile, it fits well sort of. The only complaint I could come up with is the sides are a little loose. I’ll be a little concerned about dirt and dust build up but other than that it’s fine. Haven’t dropped my phone yet but I usually don’t.

I had a black silicone when i first got my X and it chipped and wasn't dropped, I just returned my Apple leather grey, picked up a UAG plasma ice for my new silver X at half the price.

I would follow up with the warranty side. Even if you enjoy your Rhinoshield. It could be a bad case and they may credit or replace it.

I just found an Apple cobalt blue silicone case for the X and although I like the color, my Apple leather case just feels better.

Bring it into an Apple Store. They’ll likely swap it on site for you.
I’m also on Team Leather. I’ve owned both leather and silicone OEM cases but the leather holds up way better.

So I just dropped my iPhone x on to some big landscaping boulders and it hit super hard... On the rhinoshield. Completely 100% protected my phone I thought for sure it was broken when I picked it up. Not even a scratch. Super sold on this case.
