It does indeed. It has a full-screen 5.8” OLED display, Face ID, camera improvements, faster A11 SoC, wireless charging, “strongest glass used in a phone” (according to Apple), Animoji (animated poo, etc. that mimics your face,...and the highest price tag of any Apple phone to date. The phone is premium for sure.

It does feel great in the hand to me with an X-Level Hero case.

The biggest improvements over a 7 are the screen, nearly or at Plus level of battery life in a non-plus form factor, and the camera which is even better than the 8 plus if you like to zoom. The "zoom lens" on the X not only lets more light in than the 8 Plus's zoom but it's mechanically stabilized as well which is a HUGE difference and will really help with low light shots etc. IMO I think FaceID is a huge improvement as well, but not everyone sees it that way. I always had issues with TouchID on my 6s+ and 7+ and for me FaceID just works.

you are going to love your x! i had the 7 plus and am super in love with the x! such an amazing and powerful device. i love the gestures, the screen and face ID! let us know what you think when you finally get your baby!
