Has anyone had success getting the iPhone X to charge wirelessly in a 2018 Chevy Equinox?

I have a 2018 Chevy Equinox which is supposed to provide Qi wireless charging but my iPhone X wont charge. Does anyone have experience with this? Has anyone been able to make it work?

I know the Equinox isnt on the official list but neither is the Traverse and the Traverse works. Both the Equinox and the Traverse use the same innards so it should work.

Have you spoken to the dealership? Might be best to start there if you've confirmed it works in another vehicle.

Does the wireless charging in the car work with other phones and just no the iPhone. I don't get why it has to be approved which is the whole reason by standards in the first place.

It does show 2018 models as compatible, could be a fault with the unit itself.

Haven’t tried yet on my 18 Traverse. It didn’t work with my 8 plus although my android devices worked. I’ll try in the morning. I did throw the X on the charging pad once buy didn’t look to see if it charged. I’ll try with and without a case tomorrow.
