Hello,
When turning on my iPhone x in the upper right hand corner I see below the battery level and the wifi signal two things (not sure what they are) show up for a split second and they disappears.
Does anyone know what this is?
Thanks

I just turned mine off and then on a couple of times and don’t notice any thing being displayed below the WiFi and battery indicators, even for a split second.

When I turn mine on I get, from right to left, battery indicator, “LTE” and signal strength indicator. The “LTE” changes quickly to a WiFi indicator if I’m hooked up to WiFi.

Do they look like this?

If so, they were originally put there to show users how to access control center from the lock screen. Apple removed the “toggle switch” looking ones in a software update and just left the line you see below the toggle switches. If you update to the latest software which is currently 11.2.1, you’ll still have the line, but not the toggle switches.

This usually appears when you set up as a new device, even on 11.2.1 but after that it disappears.

I remember seeing it more than once after I set up as new. Maybe it was when software updates were released and it showed up once after each update then disappeared. I haven’t see it in awhile so I assumed Apple removed it and just left the line. Thanks for the info though!

Hello,
Yes that is exactly what I have. I have already updated to the latest software 11.2.1 so this is not a defect on the phone.
Thanks
