Case mate karat case removal??

I got my other case mate case (iridescent) off perfectly fine. But my rose gold carat one is proving impossible.

Is there a special trick to it? I really don’t want to damage the case or the phone.

Pull the bumper up from the bottom top and it should separate from the back plate.

Also push through the camera hole to help get it out.
