    Something I have noticed for awhile now...

    When I open my text messages and try and search for one by entering a name in the search bar, it will find the texts but then freeze when I am trying to respond to the old chain.

    I will have to scroll down to write a reply and there is usually a wheel indicating it is processing when I do.

    Is anyone else experiencing this?

    I can’t say I have. But that’s because I don’t use the search option that much.

    Hopefully someone else with a similar experience will respond soon.

    I just tried to replicate the issue a moment ago, but it didn’t freeze on me. I was able to reply without a problem.

    Strange. It seems to be sporadic on mine. Works fine sometimes. Other times the freezing issue noted above.

    Try one or both of the following:

    1. Sign out of iMessage and then sign back in
    2. Select “Reset All Settings” in the Settings section.

    It didn’t freeze on me either.

    Try one or both of the following:
