I just purchased a western digital mycloud nas home setup. Nothing big just a 3tb drive for now. When I back up pictures from my iPhone 8 the files are saved to the drive in a random order and saved according to the date they were last modified, which is the day they are uploaded to the mycloud (not cool). I noticed when I setup my wife’s iPhone X to do the same thing the files show the order in which they were actually taken. I setup them up exactly the same way, I think. Of course I would like all my phone backups to have the pics and vids in the order they were taken.
Any thoughts or experiences that can help figure it out. I searched google and found this has been an ongoing issue. Does the iPhone X save files in a different way than previous iPhones? Or am I just setting it up improperly somehow on my ip8 and galaxy s8? Thanks
