    iPhone X: all of my Duo, WhatsApp and VoIP calls ring but fail to connect, both incoming and outgoing, although my phone App works perfectly. All calling Apps asked for permission to access microphone upon installation and Settings show that they still have microphone access.

    Same Apps on my iPhone 7+ also running iOS 11, with same setting work perfectly.

    Polite suggestions grateful received!
