    Hi,

    My iPhone X doesn't unlock whenever I look at it - it only unlocks after I tap the screen. Anyone knows what may I be doing wrong? Thanks.

    The screen has to be awake in order for the Face ID camera to be active. Raising the phone or tapping it wakes the screen up.

    Oh, ok So I have to turn on the Raise to wake feature. Thank you!

    It’s a safety feature, so that the device does not get unlocked when you don’t want it to.
