iPhone X and UPS delivery

Same thing is happing to me. Just waiting for update to see when it’ll be here. My delivery was for the 16th.

It delivered today. It shipped last Tuesday so it took exactly one week from the day I got shipping notification.

This is normal. My iPhone X didn’t show as shipped until less than 48 hours until delivery. If Apple says it’s coming on the 16th then it’s most likely coming on the 16th or sooner.

That’s not the case for people in this thread. They all or most have shipping notifications.

Our Xs are in the exact same path, gone missing since 10th. What UPS told me today is that it’s not in the states, that’s all they know. Delivery date is still 16th (tentative) which I don’t have much hope for, only wish a move by tomorrow morning, or the delivery will be definitely pushed over weekend. My wife’s X was ordered only 5 minutes earlier, it’s got shipped on 8th and delivered yesterday. Sucks that I have trip starting on Sunday, likely won’t see my phone for weeks!

UPS doesn’t have any explanation for what caused the delay, somehow the entire container is off the grid? My wild imagination is that the 10th shipment has got in tangled with the craziest shipping logistics nightmare from 11.11, the largest online shopping event.

Don't feel bad! We are in the same boat and being patient (well, the struggle anyway) can be a fun part of the anticipation!

My last update was on 11/14 from ZhengZhou CN that "Your package is in transit. We're updating plans to schedule your delivery. / The package will be forwarded to a UPS facility in the destination city."

Whatever that means.

I have exactly the same path as you guys. Nothing changed since Nov 14. No expected delivery date. Ironically, Zhengzhou is my hometown but I’m now in US. I should have asked my parents to pick it up from the Foxconn factory without using the annoying UPS.

I thought UPS would not be affected by the 11/11 online shopping festival, as most of the logistical load would be domestic. Anyway, hope our iPhone will be delivered soon!

The only thing that gets me is people that ordered way after me have theirs already. Why did I get up at 2:30 and have the orders in by 3:15/20 to wait longer then most. I have been checking the web every day and there are no ATT models around.

My friend was able to get one by checking apple store app very early in the morning. Then he canceled his backorder. Verizon.

My sister order Friday of launch week and is getting hers today. Verizon.

I ordered Sat on Sprint and been using it for 2 days.

It must be carrier and model / color specific.

I think the daily stock seems like it is more than usual. I bet they figure most people are fine with their stated ship window. Personally, I think they should fill backorders first.

Same pre-order scenario for me. Still waiting for my 17-24Nov, SG, 256GB, TMO, unlocked iPhone.

I had been looking online, daily around 7:30a. Was told that in Atlanta, the available stock is posted at 6a. Yesterday at 6a, found one in a nearby Apple Store and picked it up.

Too late to cancel my pre-order because it is shipped from China and in transit now. Will return it when it finally gets here.

Mine shows arrival in Alaska yesterday , but now the delivery date of 11/21 went away. No delivery date.

Update: Decided to check again. Arrived this morning and departed this evening in KY. Delivery date is now 11/20.
