    Does the iPhone X give you the ability to pause video recording? This is a feature that is really needed.

    I’m on a 7 Plus, but it’s safe to say that pausing a video recording is not possible as of yet. Maybe in a future update they’ll implement it.

    Yes, it does, but so does the previous iPhone models via a 3rd-party video recording app. Just search the App Store for video recorder and you’ll see a list of them.

    Unfortunately the stock camera app does not allow pausing video. There is an app that allows for it, but I haven't tried it yet. Here's a link:

    For now, it takes a 3rd party camera app. Here's another with the feature.

    ProCamera is working on a major overhaul of the video feature in their camera app, including the addition of a pause and resume option.
